UNIQUE
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Experience
the local culture during your stay in one of five new cottages in a
village setting joined by a
boardwalk.
Built and operated by 5th
generation Abaconians, these accommodations provide the setting for an
authentic island vacation - right down to your own front porch with
seating for two. The cottages resemble the old Bahamian homes that can be
found nowadays mainly in the Family Islands. They are brightly colo red and exude a true feeling of being in the islands. Perfect
for fishing buddies, couples or
get-togethers with family and friends. Each cottage is set up as an
efficiency -sleeping and kitchen areas, bathroom with large, tiled, shower
stall and a closet. Two extra long, twin beds in each can be easily
converted to a King size bed. Pull-down steps lead to a small sleeping
area in the attic that includes a queen size air mattress. This
hideaway area has special appeal to couples traveling with young children
who can enjoy the feeling of camping out while sleeping indoors!
MODERN
AMENITIES:
The kitchen areas are equipped with a 20-inch gas stove, microwave,
toaster, coffee maker, full size refrigerator/top freezer and complete
with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. The modern conveniences of air
conditioning, Cable T.V. and wireless internet are all available.
OUTDOOR
FACILITIES:
A large, communal seating area, under roof with ceiling fan,
provides the perfect place for groups to gather. Furnished with two
six foot long, colorfully painted, picnic tables and a bbq.
It's an ideal spot where you may grill the day's catch and dine outdoors
with friends.
